In a strange way, Ensidia is both the underdog and the most favored team to win. Ensidia is the only team from Europe to compete at this event, and with that comes both distinct advantages and disadvantages. They are usually considered in the top 3 as far as RMP teams are considered, and looking at the last LAN event results of the ESL finals, it would seem that European teams are faring much better than American teams. All three players are extremely talented and are looking to prove that they are better than anything the American players can throw at them.
Hydra is most likely the most well known professional WoW player so far, mostly famous for his movies and his ability to perform well on LAN as well. His Priest skill is said to be unmatched and he put those skills to use at an MLG last year when he competed with the Nihilum team at San Diego and got 2nd place. Redhot is the Mage player for Ensidia and has done extremely well for himself in the past, being held in high regards by other Mage players. Redhot was originally a member of team Nihilum, which he played under another alias ‘Carekoala’ as a Druid. His team won Blizzcon 2008 over Fnatic & Yog’s former team ‘Selective Queuers’. Kalimist is a newer player in the tournament scene, but similar to everyone else on Ensidia, he is considered an exceptional player and will probably be able to surprise everyone who sees him play.
